Launching of the Ford EcoSport SUV
A new Ford EcoSport SUV was launched at the Auto Expo in Delhi and will be launched in Brasilia, Brazil too. This car will be sold in United Kingdom and other 100 countries all over the globe. Ford EcoSport SUV is the recent addition to the Ford global car array which includes the Fiesta, Focus and Kugan. This is the first global model designed and developed solely by the South American team. The SUV was actually based on the Ford Fusion which was developed by the South American team in 2003 and sold over 700,000 items. With this number Ford will surely have high-hopes for the new car model. Looking at the exterior of the Ford EcoSport SUV you can really see it was a lot like the Fiesta except for the grille with a bold font, more detailed and slimmer headlamps with plastic cladding at the sides. Aside from that the EcoSport SUV is the first to have three-cylinder 1.0-litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine that has 118bhp and a torque of 170Nm which will emit 140g/km of CO2.
